After a three year break due to the pandemic, the biggest week in the Black & White calendar returns with a bumper schedule of supporter and community events for fans and families to enjoy, as well as an action-packed ‘BIG Day Out’ fixture against the Warriors.

From some Hull&Proud Week favourites, to some fresh new events, there is something for supporters of all ages across the eight days of events.

There will be an extensive community theme, with community fixtures and school visits taking centre stage throughout the week, while events will include our Players Cooking Challenge at Nando’s Kingswood, our annual Big Fat Quiz of the Year at the MKM Stadium, a unique video review session with first-team coaches at the University of Hull, a comedy night hosted by Tribal Humber Street, and a watchalong of the 1982 Challenge Cup Final Replay at Tribal Kingswood, 40 years to the day since the Black & Whites lifted the trophy!

It all gets underway this weekend with a bumper list of fixtures for our various community and Centre of Excellence sides; Saturday will see our U14s Girls in Hull Derby action as they take on Hull KR in East Hull, before our Hull FC Wheelchair side look to book their spot in the Challenge Cup Final, and our Reserves do battle with Newcastle Thunder Reserves.

Sunday then sees Hull host it’s first Learning Disability Super League Festival at the University, before Sewell Group Craven Park hosts the first ever competitive derby between Hull FC and Hull KR’s Women’s sides.

Full details of all of this weekend’s events can be found below:

Saturday 14th May

Hull KR U14s Girls vs Hull FC U14s Girls

Our U14s Girls side will be looking to continue their impressive form that has seen them win four of their opening five games of the season when they travel to take on Hull KR on Saturday morning.

It’s the Black & Whites who hold the bragging rights going into the game, having defeated the Robins 36-10 in the opening game of the season.

The clash will take place on the Community Pitch behind Sewell Group Craven Park, with supporters invited to attend – the match will kick-off at 10.00am

Betfred Wheelchair Challenge Cup Festival

Hull FC’s Wheelchair side will battle it out with seven other sides for a spot in the Betfred Wheelchair Challenge Cup Final in Saturday’s festival at the University of Hull’s Allam Arena.

The round robins tournament from 11.00am, which also features Catalans Dragons, Halifax Panthers, Leeds Rhinos, London Roosters, North Wales Crusaders, Warrington Wolves, and Wigan Warriors, will see all the teams play each other once in 15-minute games, with the four best placed teams competing in the semi-finals at the end of the day, from 5.00pm

The two semi-final winners will earn their spot in the final, to be played at the Allam Arena in June.

Hull FC Reserves vs Newcastle Thunder Reserves

The Black & Whites’ Reserves side will be looking to return to winning ways when they take on Newcastle Thunder Reserves on Saturday afternoon (1.00pm kick-off).

The Reserves will likely feature the likes of Rising Stars Davy Litten, Jacob Hookem, and Aidan Burrell who look to pick up some important game time this weekend.

Sunday 15th May

Learning Disability Super League Festival

The city of Hull will host its first ever Community Integrated Care Learning Disability Super League Festival at the University of Hull on Sunday from 1.00pm.

In the second festival of the season, 16 teams will compete from nine community foundations alongside Hull FC’s side – Wakefield Trinity, Salford Red Devils, Hull KR, Barrow Raiders, Leigh Centurions, York City Knights, Castleford Tigers, and Featherstone Rovers

Games will kick-off at 1.00pm, with presentations taking place at 3.30pm – supporters are encouraged to come along and support the players!

Hull KR Women vs Hull FC Women

Hull FC will take on Hull KR in the first ever Women’s Hull Derby at Sewell Group Craven Park, with free entry for all supporters!

The League Cup Quarter-Final is set to be a tasty clash between the two Betfred Championship sides, having never met before in competitive fixture.

FC’s side is set to feature several of their U16s Girls players, who have played a part in their unbeaten run at the start of the 2022 season, winning six out of six games.
