Primary School Sport

Hull FC Foundation has developed a range of activities for schools to choose from to suit their needs. Each school can choose from a variety of products on offer to support Sport and Physical Education within schools. Our experienced staff will meet with schools to individually create a package that is tailored to their needs and will truly benefit their pupils.

Secondary School Rugby League

Hull FC have continued their expansive approach to developing elite performance pathways and improving sport delivery in schools with another unique academy partnership with St. Mary’s 6th Form College.

Since September 2013, both organisations have worked closely together, alongside the Hull FC Community Foundation, on a Post 16 Student Academy for Rugby League, delivering high quality sports coaching and education from the St. Mary’s complex on Inglemire Lane in Hull.

The partnership has included the provision of a member of the Hull FC performance team based at the college delivering rugby coaching, fitness, conditioning and individual player development, under the guidance of the Hull FC Youth Performance coaches, creating a highly professional environment in which young sporting athletes can develop.

Students have received education modules and the opportunity to gain qualifications in various fields, plus the benefit of pastoral care to support the demands of student life from the team at St. Mary’s College.

Touch Rugby

Touch Rugby League is a fast, skillful and action packed team sport, played in a fun and social atmosphere, without any of the tackling you see in a traditional game of Rugby League.

Anyone can play (+14) for just £3 per person with a number of first-team squad members joining fans in the action in previous years.

The sessions run weekly offering all the thrills, excitement and camaraderie of the traditional game but without the high impact tackling.

Play Touch Rugby League (PTRL) has been designed by the RFL to make playing the sport much more accessible to a wider audience.
