Francis Cummins has named an 18-man Hull FC Reserves squad for Friday’s fixture against Castleford Tigers Reserves at the University of Hull (7.00pm).
Hull’s Reserves will be aiming to make it back-to-back wins after defeating Bradford in West Yorkshire a fortnight ago in their opening fixture of the season.
Several first-team squad members are named, including Denive Balmforth, Harvey Barron, and Damel Diakhate.
With a lengthy injury list within the club’s Reserves and Academy ranks, three players have also joined the squad on dual-registration for the fixture against the Tigers; forwards Jude Thompson and Ilikya Mafi have joined from Doncaster RLFC, while outside-back Ryan Johnson joins from Sheffield Eagles.
The move allows the three Betfred Championship players the opportunity to earn some important game time, while adding further depth to FC’s side for Friday’s fixture.
