Michael Shenton has named a 19-man Hull FC Academy squad to face Huddersfield Giants Under 18s at Laund Hill tomorrow (12.00pm kick-off), brought to you in association with Pearson Electrical.
Victory in West Yorkshire tomorrow would all but secure a play-off semi-final place in the Academy Championship for Hull’s youngsters, having won seven of their nine fixtures this season.
Shenton has made three changes from the side that demolished London Broncos Under 18s a fortnight ago.
Jeylan Hodgson will miss the trip to Huddersfield through the concussion protocols after suffering a head knock in the early stages of last week’s Reserves meeting with Castleford.
First-year Academy players Jack Horsfield and Callum Barfield are the other two to make way in the squad.
Lennon Bursell and Mackenzie Harman, who both featured in the Reserves clash with the Tigers last weekend, are selected to return to Academy action.
16-year-old hooker Will Hutchinson is also set to return to the field after a six-week absence.
