Brett Hodgson has named his match day seventeen for this afternoon’s Betfred Super League Round 27 clash against Hull KR, brought to you in association with Jadan Press.

It’s Derby Day, and the Black & Whites’ final match of the 2022 season, with FC hoping to go out with a bang and claim the Clive Sullivan Trophy for the third season in a row, as well as winning their fourth game in a row on home turf against Hull KR.

Despite an extensive injury list which includes 14 first-team players, Hodgson has welcomed back two key names from injury, with Darnell McIntosh returning to the starting line-up, while Danny Houghton comes onto the bench to appear in a remarkable 37th derby and his 35th in a row.

Young winger Harvey Barron retains his starting spot after scoring a brace last time out against Toulouse – Reserves forward also starts at loose-forward, while Rising Stars Davy Litten and Matty Laidlaw are named on the bench.

Luke Gale, Jordan Johnstone, and Will Smith all start in what will be their final appearances for the club this afternoon.

The following 14 players remain unavailable for the Black & Whites:

Kane Evans (knee), Connor Wynne (Achilles), Brad Fash (suspension), Manu Ma’u (arm), Joe Lovodua (knee), Danny Houghton (quad), Adam Swift (leg), Carlos Tuimavave (Achilles), Josh Griffin (quad), Darnell McIntosh (foot), Andre Savelio (knee), Joe Cator (Achilles), Jack Brown (shoulder), Jack Walker (foot), Charlie Severs (shoulder), and Rising Star Callum Rutland (ankle).
