Michael Shenton has named a 19-man Hull FC Academy squad to face Wakefield Trinity Under 18s at the Be Well Support Stadium tomorrow afternoon (12.00pm kick-off).
Shenton has made four changes from the squad that maintained their unbeaten start to the 2022 season with a 44-10 victory over Bradford’s youngsters a fortnight ago.
Revenge will be on the minds of six players included in the 19-man squad, after a dramatic comeback denied Hull’s Reserves victory against Wakefield’s Reserves in West Yorkshire three weeks ago.
All eight of Hull FC’s Yorkshire Academy representatives are set to get more game time ahead of their second match in the Origin series against Lancashire next weekend.
Lennon Bursell is back for the Academy this week after serving a one-match suspension.
Sully Medforth and Charlie Stipetic are also set to return to action after missing the match against Bradford through illness and injury, respectively.
Callum Chapman-Peterson has been named in his first 19-man squad of the season and he could make his Hull FC Academy debut if selected.
Making way are Sam Dulson, Mackenzie Harman, Logan Radford and Jensen Wainwright-Matson.
