Five members of the 1982 Challenge Cup winning side will deliver the match ball ahead of kick-off on Saturday as part of our Legends Match Ball Walk Out.

On Thursday, the club celebrated the 40th anniversary of the famous victory, when the Black & Whites defeated Widnes 18-9 at Elland Road to lift the trophy for the first time in 68 years.

And we’ll mark one of the greatest days in club history ahead of Saturday’s clash against Wigan at the MKM Stadium, as members of the side deliver the match ball ahead of kick-off.

Lee Crooks, Keith Tindall, Tony Duke, Trevor Skerrett, and Kevin Harkin, all of whom played in the replay fixture, will take to the field ahead of kick-off in celebration of the anniversary.

Icons of the legendary Airlie Birds side of the early 1980s, all five players were key influences in the side which also included stars such as Steve Norton, Clive Sullivan, David Topliss, Gary Kemble, Dane O’Hara, James Leuluai, and Paul Prendiville.
