Supporter Graham Ward has walked away with a huge prize of £7,000 after claiming the Hull FC Lottery’s rollover jackpot earlier this month!
The NCYDA lottery team have been out and about visiting recent winners and presented Graham with his prize earlier this week.
A supporter since the late 1970s, Graham and his wife Lynn live in North Newbald, and have been playing the club lottery for several years.
With funds raised from the Hull FC Lottery helping to support the club’s Centre of Excellence programme, Graham was delighted to hear how playing the lottery has and will support some of the club’s stars of the future.
This partnership goes to helping develop and nurture some of the city’s brightest young sporting talent, with the hope of one day seeing some progress into the Hull FC ranks and establish themselves as a leading Super League star.
The likes of Jordan Lane, Connor Wynne, Cameron Scott, and Jack Brown, all of whom have secured their place as regular Super League players, have come through the club’s junior ranks in recent seasons, with the likes of upcoming stars Ben McNamara, Charlie Severs, Davy Litten, Aidan Burrell and Jacob Hookem all being products of the club’s new-look Centre of Excellence.
The Centre of Excellence also offers an exclusive, in-house education programme for aspiring rugby league players, talented athletes and those interested in a career in sport, aged 16-19. The aim is to find the next group of talent first team players, with funds raised from the club’s lottery scheme helping support the programme!
