The first-ever competitive Women’s Hull Derby will take place this weekend!

Hull FC Women travel to Sewell Group Craven Park to take on Hull KR Women in the Quarter-Finals of the Women’s League Cup on Sunday 15th May.

It is the first time the sides have ever met in a competitive fixture as both sides aim to progress to the semi-finals of the competition.

FC’s side is set to feature several of their U16s Girls players, who have played a part in their unbeaten run at the start of the 2022 season, winning six out of six games.

The match will kick-off at 2.00pm, with free entry for all supporters.

Hull FC’s U14s are also in action against Hull KR this weekend, with a 10.00am kick-off at Sewell Group Craven Park on Saturday 14th May.

Female Pathways Manager Jack Coates said: “The weekend will be another chance to expose our young playing group to a great experience and development opportunity.”

“Being part of the first ever women’s derby game is something that we are really proud of and the players can’t wait to go out there and represent the club.”

“Hopefully the fixture can get the crowd it deserves, too.”
