Hull FC will be marking the 40th anniversary of our 1982 Challenge Cup Final Replay victory with a special watchalong event at Tribal Kingswood during Hull&Proud Week!
As part of a packed schedule of events throughout the week, the Black & Whites will celebrate the anniversary of the historic win alongside both supporters and ex-players on Wednesday 18th May (7.00pm).
After a 14-14 draw at Wembley Stadium, Hull travelled to Elland Road to take on Widnes in the replay, with tries from Gary Kemble, David Topliss (2) and Lee Crooks seeing Hull triumph in the competition for the first time in 68 years.
Fans are invited to join us at Tribal Kingswood to relive both the Final and the Replay at the watchalong event, with extended and in-depth highlights of both matches.
Supporters will also be able to hear from ex-players who played their part in the triumph, with club icons Lee Crooks and Keith Tindall in attendance alongside other ex-players, who will share their thoughts and memories of the matches.
Tribal’s kitchen will be serving food and the bar will be open as fans have to the opportunity to raise a glass to one of the club’s finest hours.
The event of free of charge, but a booking is advised due to high demand expected.
