Hodgson Names 21-Man Squad For Leeds Clash

The 21-man squad to face Leeds Rhinos has been named

Club News

Brett Hodgson has named his 21-man squad for Thursday’s trip to face Leeds Rhinos at Headingley Stadium, brought to you in association with Jadan Press.

The Black & Whites have been forced to make three changes to their squad for the Round 5 clash, with up to ten first-team players unavailable this week.

Josh Reynolds and Jordan Lane both picked up injuries during Sunday’s match against Castleford Tigers, whilst Connor Wynne is doubtful having suffered an arm injury.

Winger Darnell McIntosh missed the match due to a calf issue, so he is left out of the squad this week, joining Carlos Tuimavave, Manu Ma’u, Cameron Scott, Scott Taylor, and Jacob Hookem in the treatment room.

Captain Luke Gale is another absentee as he continues to serve a five-match suspension, so he will miss the opportunity to face his former club.

However, there is some positive news for the Black & Whites, who can call upon versatile forward Joe Cator for the first time since the Derby victory against Hull KR last August after his recovery from a long-term Achilles injury.

Youngsters Charlie Severs and Harvey Barron join fellow Rising Star Aidan Burrell in Hodgson’s 21-man squad this week, having helped Hull FC’s Reserves onto a 40-20 victory over Salford Red Devils Reserves on Saturday.
