Hull FC are delighted to confirm local company Pearson Electrical as their new principal Reserves & Academy sponsor for the 2022 season.

Taking pride of place on the front of both side’s jerseys this season, the business has been unveiled as the new sponsor of our reserves side on the eve of their first game of the season, with Michael Shenton’s side taking on Hull KR Reserves in the Reserves Championship on Friday evening, while our Academy side will kick off their new campaign in March.

With headquarters in Hull, and trusted by businesses across the UK and beyond, Pearson Electrical provides a full range of high quality, professional commercial electrical services – from design and installation, right through to inspection, testing, maintenance and repairs, as well as specialising in hazardous areas, with training, tools and expertise required to work safely and complete project works in a full range of environments.

Speaking to hullfc.com, Company Director Mark Pearson, said: “Sport has such a positive impact in the city – in terms of everything from fitness and wellbeing to our sense of pride and as a social outlet for fans – and all of these things are more important than ever, given what we’ve all been through with the COVID-19 pandemic.

“It’s a privilege to be able to play a small part in supporting the ongoing success of one of our local clubs, and we’re looking forward to seeing how things unfold for them over the coming season.

“It’s really exciting to put our name to the matches for the season. Some of our team members and business contacts are supporters, and hopefully they’ll also be glad to see us playing our part

He added: “Many of us are new to Rugby League,, but we’re a well-established Hull business – specialising in industrial, hazardous area and offshore projects, and, as such, working with businesses from wind turbine fabrication companies to manufacturers and shipbuilders in this area. So supporting one of the teams that is so much a part of the fabric of city life seemed a natural fit for us.”

Hull’s reserves side return for the first time in over two-years this season following a two-year break during the COVID-19 pandemic, while the academy side will return to competitive matches after playing friendly clashes in 2021.

Hull FC’s Reserves kick off their 2022 season against Hull KR Reserve on Friday evening at Hull University (7.00pm), while the Hull FC Academy season kicks-off on Sunday 13th March against London Broncos at home.
