Hull FC Centre of Excellence Girls Open Day In February

The Hull FC Centre of Excellence will be hosting a girls open day next month.

The Centre of Excellence will be hosting an open day for girls who are interested in developing as rugby players, whilst also studying at the Hull FC Sports College.

In a bid to develop female rugby league in the local area, Hull FC is set to launch a brand-new Girls Academy programme later this year.

It will give teenage girls in the region the opportunity to study at the Centre of Excellence, whilst also playing for Hull FC’s Girls teams, with the added incentive of potentially working towards playing for Hull FC Women, who ply their trade in the Women’s Championship.

On Tuesday 22nd February, we will be hosting an open day for girls aged 15 to 17 from 10am until 2pm at the Centre of Excellence, giving prospective students the opportunity to take a look around our facilities.

Girls attending the sports college will be part of an excellence pathway, exposed to six hours of skills per week, as well as three hours of strength & conditioning training.

Following a successful recruitment process before September, the club hopes to enter a Hull FC side into the Girls College League for the 2022/23 academic year.
