Carlos Tuimavave and Cameron Scott have won our August monthly awards!
Cameron Scott has enjoyed a consistent run of games in Brett Hodgson’s squad. As such, his confidence appears to be on the rise and the outside back has hit a rich vein of form.
Making eight tackle busts throughout the month of August, Scott has proved to be a tough customer for opposition players.
With a large percentage of the vote, Scott has won the August KayGee Player of the Month award, staving off competition from Manu Ma’u, Jake Connor and Bureta Faraimo.
Elsewhere, Carlos Tuimavave’s try against Hull Kingston Rovers has been voted as the SS Testing Try of the Month for August.
The silky centre demonstrated great evasion to slice through the Hull KR defence and score a crucial try on the stroke of half-time.
