It’s Members Monday, which means it’s time to find out who has been chosen as this weeks Members of the Week…

Adam Crawforth (Nominated by mum Coralyn)

“I would like to nominate my son Adam Crawforth – a stalwart supporter who is one of the key workers forgotten by the press.

“He connects broadband up to homes and has been super busy during the pandemic as more and more people turn to the internet for company and online shopping.

“He is out everyday is all kinds of weather even though it means he cannot see any family due to us all being vulnerable.”

William Thomas (Nominated by wife Elaine)

“I would like to nominate my husband William Thomas – he deserves to be member of the week because he has worked all the way through the pandemic delivering goods to essential services from the NHS to the food industry all over the country.

“It was very difficult with him been away Monday to Friday and with no facilities open for him to get a hot drink and meal during the lockdown. Truckers never get a mention and they kept the country going through this terrible pandemic.”

Keegan Spencer (Nominated by mum Kerry)

“I would like to nominate my 14 year old son Keegan Spencer; he’s got epilepsy and IBS, and also struggles with anxiety and says he’s fed up with all the pandemic going on.

“We are members, and as a family, we are really missing the rugby. He always puts a smile on his face as he doesn’t like to worry me. He has gone through so much in his little life. His grandad had a stroke in January and his uncle had two heart attacks so it had not a great start to the year, but I know being chosen as the member of the week would pick his spirits up!”

Nominate Your Member of the Week

We are on the lookout for members who have gone the extra mile to support someone during these challenging times.

Perhaps they are one of our amazing nurses caring for Coronavirus patients in hospital. Or they could be helping a local charity, a key-worker, a care home assistant…

Maybe you know somebody who has helped another person with their mental health during this challenging year.

If you know a Hull FC member who has stood out from the rest, you can nominate them to be featured in Members Monday on hullfc.com in the new year!

Last year we featured some of our key-worker heroes. You can check them out here

To nominate a Member of the Week, please email comms@hullfc.com with the following details:

  • Tell us their full name and give us a few details about their job role.
  • Let us know what inspiring work they’ve carried out this year, and tell us why you have nominated them in 150 to 300 words.
  • Attach some photos of them either at work, or supporting the Black & Whites.

We’ll pick out some of the best ones to be featured, so keep an eye out on hullfc.com every Monday!
