Hull FC will finish the regular Betfred Super League season in 6th position with a points percentage of 52.94%, and will therefore play in next week’s first round of play-off matches against the team that eventually finishes in third place.

Hull will take on the third placed side on Thursday 12th November, with fixture live on Sky Sports with a 7.45pm kick-off.

The side that finishes in third, Wigan Warriors or Warrington Wolves, is still to be decided.

The side that finished in third spot will be decided through the result of the final game of the regular season this Friday between Wigan Warriors and Huddersfield Giants at Emerald Headingley.

Should the Warriors beat the Giants, the Warriors will claim the League Leaders Shield finishing in first place, while the Black & Whites would travel to take on third placed Warrington Wolves.

Meanwhile, if the Warriors lost to the Giants gifting the League Leaders Shield to rivals St Helens, they would finish on the same points percentage as Warrington (70.59%), but would drop into 3rd place due to their lower points difference percentage than the Wolves; Hull would therefore travel to take on the Warriors.
