Club News

To accompany the launch of the 2021 Betfred Super League fixtures, Hull FC have issued a positive update on memberships, the national road map and the KCOM Stadium homecoming.

As highlighted in this year’s membership campaign, we cannot wait to get back home to the KCOM Stadium this season – and better still welcome back our loyal supporters.

Here is everything you need to know:

Key Dates, Fixtures and Crowds

The government has announced that supporters will be allowed to return to sports stadia from mid-May – albeit on a restricted basis.

We are anticipating we will be permitted to have circa 5,500 – 6,000 supporters initially allowed to attend matches at the KCOM Stadium and work is underway to finalise this.

The club are also working on plans for supporter bubbles and awaiting guidance on how this will be implemented.

It is hoped that a further relaxation of social contact rules will be achieved by mid-June – including the potential for a return to full crowds.

The new 2021 fixture list suggests the club will have four matches behind closed doors before crowds are permitted from 17th May.

However, the club will be applying to take part in crowd pilot events prior to this date should the opportunity arise.

More encouragingly, due to annual pitch renovations at the KCOM Stadium, the next home fixture will not be until 25th June.

Therefore, if the national road map remains on track, it is possible that full crowds will be permitted by that time, meaning that our members and corporate guests will have full access to the majority of home matches.

Behind Closed Doors Matches

For the games that are not accessible to members, the club are committed to providing a fair, financial reimbursement at the end of the season after all home fixtures have been completed.

Members will also receive exclusive complimentary access to a live stream of all of Hull FC’s Super League matches that are played behind closed doors, plus our pre-season friendly against York City Knights.

Membership Renewals & New Applications

Based on the current government guidelines, the club will not be accepting any member applications beyond the current renewal deadline on Monday (1st March).

We have received fantastic support from our loyal members so far, meaning we are already closing in on our available capacity.

Access to matches at the KCOM Stadium will be given to members who have renewed prior to the deadline.

After the deadline has passed, supporters will still be able to apply for a 2021 membership but they will be placed on a waiting list.

These supporters will get first access to matches should stadium capacities be increased at any stage.

Safety & Social Distancing

For your peace of mind, we can confirm that social distancing will be practiced at any fixture that takes place during the restricted period and the KCOM Stadium will be fully Covid compliant.

The club has already undertaken a successful bio-secure test fixture at the KCOM Stadium behind closed doors last season.

Thank You!

We hope this update has been met with plenty of enthusiasm and excitement, with the new season just around the corner.

We are certainly buoyed by the recent good news and we cannot wait to see our members back at the KCOM Stadium.

Everyone at the club would like to thank our fans for their loyal support which has been our bedrock throughout the last 12-months.

We will undoubtedly be required to call on that support further during the weeks, months and years ahead as we continue to map out our own recovery from the crippling effects of Covid-19.

The financial and emotional commitment of our members has helped us safeguard the club in its time of need – reaffirming why we firmly believe we have the best supporters around.

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
