Simon Grix has named his 21-man squad ahead of Friday’s Betfred Super League Round 12 fixture against Castleford Tigers, in association with Jadan Press.

Hull FC continue in their search for a first win since Round Three, making a short trip down the M62 to West Yorkshire, looking to cut the deficit between themselves and Castleford in the table.

There are four changes to the 21-man squad from the side that was named to face London in Round 11, with Franklin Pele, Joe Cator, Davy Litten and Matty Laidlaw dropping out of the side.

After making strong comebacks from injury for the Reserves on Saturday, Jack Ashworth and Harvey Barron have been named in this week’s 21-man squad.

Ben Reynolds could also make his club debut after the halfback joined the Black & Whites on a deal until the end of the season earlier this month.

Meanwhile, there is a first Super League appearance of the year for Brad Fash on the cards, with the forward making a recovery from an ankle injury suffered in Hull’s pre-season meeting with Wigan.

Carlos Tuimavave (hamstring), Mitieli Vulikijapani (knee), Nick Staveley (knee) and Cobie Wainhouse (knee) remain sidelined for Hull.
