Simon Grix has named his 21-man squad ahead of Friday’s fixture against St Helens, in association with Jadan Press.

The Black & Whites head to the Totally Wicked Stadium on Friday evening for Round 8 of Betfred Super League.

Grix has made four changes to the squad which was named ahead of FC’s defeat to Huddersfield earlier this month.

Danny Houghton returns from a rib injury, while Denive Balmforth, Macca Harman and Jeylan Hodgson are also included.

The quartet replace the suspended Ligi Sao and Jack Brown, while Tex Hoy and Fa’amanu Brown have departed the club.

Carlos Tuimavave (hamstring), Jake Trueman (Achilles), Brad Fash (ankle), Jack Ashworth (thumb), Mitieli Vulikijapani (knee), Nick Staveley (knee) Jack Walker (hamstring) Kye Armstrong (shoulder) and Cobie Wainhouse (knee) all continue nursing their respective injuries.
