The team news is in for this afternoon’s Betfred Super League Round 6 fixture against Hull KR, in association with Jadan Press.

The Black & Whites take on the Robins in the traditional Good Friday Derby – the second meeting of the cross-city rivals so far this season as FC look to avenge their Round 1 defeat, and turn around their poor form of late.

Tony Smith has made two changes to the side that lined-up against Huddersfield Giants last weekend, with Jack Ashworth and Franklin Pele both returning from suspension.

The pair replace Liam Tindall and Nick Staveley from the squad.

Danny Houghton starts at hooker in his record-extending 40th Hull Derby appearance for the Airlie Birds.

Jack Charles (bench) makes his first senior appearance against the Robins.

Jake Trueman (Achilles), Brad Fash (ankle), Joe Cator (hamstring), Mitieli Vulikijapani (knee), Harvey Barron (head), Jack Walker (hamstring) Kye Armstrong (shoulder) and Cobie Wainhouse (knee) all continue their recovery from respective injuries.
