Francis Cummins has named an 18-man Hull FC Reserves squad for tomorrow’s trip to face Bradford Bulls Reserves at the Horsfall Community Stadium (7.00pm kick-off).
The Black & Whites’ Reserves squad head to West Yorkshire for their first match of the new season, which will be Francis Cummins’ first-match in charge as Head of Emerging Talent at the club.
Seventeen of the eighteen selected are Academy products of the club, with the only exception being Frenchman Damel Diakhate, who caught the eye during a trial period with Hull’s Reserves last year.
Denive Balmforth, who recently featured in the first-team’s Round 2 Betfred Super League meeting with Warrington Wolves, will be given the opportunity to get more competitive minutes under his belt.
Also included are Lennon Bursell, Roman Dawson and Lennon Clark – all of whom were on the scoresheet in Hull’s pre-season hit-up with the Bulls at Odsal in January.
Meanwhile, fresh from FC’s Scholarship side and beginning their first year with the Academy, 16-year old Jon Turner and 17-year old Callum Kemp could be given the opportunity to impress.
