Tony Smith has named his match day squad ahead of this afternoon’s Betfred Super League Round 3 fixture against London Broncos, in association with Jadan Press.
The Black & Whites are aiming to pick up their first two points of the season this afternoon when the face the newly promoted side at the MKM Stadium.
Smith welcomes back several key names into his squad, making six changes to the side that lined up against Warrington last week.
Carlos Tuimavave, who has recovered from a calf injury to make his first appearance of the season, Danny Houghton, who returns after completing his head injury protocols, and Ligi Sao, who has served his one match suspension, all come into the starting line-up.
Matty Russell, who rejoined the club on loan earlier this week, almost 12 years since his last appearance for the Airlie Birds, starts on the wing, while fellow Wolves loanne Joe Bullock is named on the bench.
Young half-back Jack Charles is named on the bench and will make his senior debut for the club this afternoon.
Liam Tindall (thumb), Jake Trueman (Achilles) Brad Fash (ankle), Joe Cator (hamstring), Cam Scott (calf), Mitieli Vulikijapani (knee), Harvey Barron (hamstring), Zach Jebson (ankle), Kye Armstrong (shoulder) and Cobie Wainhouse (knee) all continue their recovery from injury, while Liam Sutcliffe, Herman Ese’ese and Franklin Pele are suspended.
