Hull FC are delighted to announce the club’s brand new Resident DJ for 2024, Eddie Richards, presented by Steve Hodgins Plumbing, Heating & Electrical!
As part of the club’s refreshed match day experience, the Hull-born artist will be getting supporters hyped up for the action on the field ahead of every home game at the MKM Stadium with his pumping pre-match set.
Richards will perform in the North-West corner of the stadium, directly next to the club’s expanded Family Zone in the West Stand, featuring classic and modern hits, as well as some fan favourites.
His first set will take place ahead of Sunday’s pre-season friendly against Wigan Warriors, before taking to his decks in front of a packed house ahead of our unmissable Betfred Super League season opener against Hull KR on Thursday 15th February.
A Hull FC supporter himself, Richards has been DJ’ing since 2017 and has quickly gained attention from around the region – he is also the Resident DJ of stadium partners Hull City throughout their 2023/24 season.
Starting in his bedroom and at friend’s parties, Richards quickly moved onto club sets before bringing the party to people in their own homes with live-streams during the Covid-19 lockdowns, helping his cult following grow before making the MKM Stadium the new home of his performances.
Speaking to hullfc.com, Richards said: “I’m looking forward to performing for the Hull FC Faithful throughout the 2024 season! People who know my DJ’ing style expect to see energy getting you fired up pre match!
“My first set will be ahead of Sunday’s pre-season clash against Wigan which I can’t wait for – and then to play ahead of the season opener against Hull KR will be an incredible experience!
“As a member of the Black & White Army myself, I can’t wait to be in and amongst the fans playing your soundtrack for the season!”
