With the start of the new Betfred Super League season just weeks away, the club are delighted to unveil a brand-new mascot for the 2024 season, designed by main club partners Ecostrad!

With the start of the new Betfred Super League season just weeks away, the club are delighted to unveil a brand-new mascot for the 2024 season, designed by main club partners Ecostrad!

After coming on board in the summer of 2023, Ecostrad, the UK’s leading manufacturer of high-end electric heating solutions, are preparing to embark on their first full season as Hull FC’s principal partner in one of the club’s biggest-ever commercial deals.

The Ecostrad brand will already be familiar to Black & White supporters, with plenty of engaging digital activation across the club’s channels over the last six months. This included our £10,000 Community Makeover Project, with the winner set to be announced very soon, as well as taking pride of place across all three of the club’s stunning 2024 jerseys.

And Ecostrad will increase their visual presence even further in 2024 with their brand-new mascot in and around the MKM Stadium on match days, engaging with supporters both young and old, alongside Airlie Bird and Girlie Bird!

The mascot will also be present at various club and community events throughout the year.

Designed to bring to life one of Ecostrad’s most popular products, the best-selling iQ Ceramic, it is sure to become one of the sport’s most talked-about and noticeable mascots in 2024!

Our 2024 members have the exclusive opportunity to vote for the name of our new mascot. We’ll also be accepting name suggestions from members.

Representatives from Ecostrad and Hull FC will assess the results of the poll and consider all suggestions before settling on the preferred name ahead of the new season. From the votes/entries, a winner will be selected, receiving a signed 2024 jersey as their prize.

On the unveiling of the new mascot, Ecostrad’s Marketing Director James Parry-Jones , said: “We’re excited to welcome our new mascot to the Ecostrad family – a lively symbol of the strong bond we’ve formed with Hull FC.

“This character is set to play a key role in engaging fans and promoting sustainable practices in both rugby league and home heating. As a fun, interactive representation of our smart, efficient electric heating systems, we’re really looking forward to all the creative naming ideas from the fans.”

Hull FC are also recruiting an enthusiastic and energetic individual to join the club as the new Ecostrad mascot for 2024. As one of our new official mascots, you will represent both the Black & Whites and Ecostrad and play a vital role alongside our other mascots in engaging with and entertaining supporters during match days and various club events. You will embody the spirit and values of the club while providing a memorable experience for supporters of all ages and backgrounds.
