Academy 20-Man Squad Set For Return To Action

It’s the penultimate league match of 2023 for Hull’s Academy

Michael Shenton has named a 20-man Hull FC Academy squad to face Warrington Wolves Under 18s at the University of Hull tomorrow afternoon (12.00pm kick-off), brought to you in association with Pearson Electrical.

It will be the first outing for the Academy in four weeks, after securing a play-off semi-final spot in their last match in July, a 40-22 victory over Huddersfield Giants.

All nine of Hull FC’s Yorkshire Academy representatives who were on Origin duty last weekend are primed to return to action for the Black & Whites.

Sam Dulson and Alfie Oldridge have dropped out of the squad that dispatched of Huddersfield last month.

They have been replaced by first-year Academy players Jordon Baker and Callum Barfield.

Jeylan Hodgson, who missed the trip to face the Giants through concussion, has also been included in this weekend’s Academy squad, having made a try-scoring return to action for the Reserves against Wigan last week.
