Team News: Salford Red Devils vs Hull FC

The Hull FC squad to face Salford has been named

Club News

The team news is in for this afternoon’s Betfred Super League Round 13 clash with Salford Red Devils, brought to you in association with Jadan Press.

Hull FC can make it five successive victories in all competitions if they win at the Salford Stadium this afternoon, but a Red Devils side determined to reclaim a play-off place stand firmly in their way.

There are three changes in personnel to the side that faced Castleford Tigers in the Challenge Cup last weekend.

Carlos Tuimavave has picked up a hamstring injury, so Cam Scott slots in at centre to replace the captain, with Darnell McIntosh returning to action on the wing.

In a boost for Tony Smith, Ligi Sao has returned from a knee issue that ruled him out of last week’s cup tie.

Meanwhile, Scott Taylor is also back from a one-match suspension, as the prop forward looks to continue his good form in 2023.

Will Gardiner drops out of the squad – he featured for the Reserves in their 52-6 win over Salford here yesterday.

As does fellow youngster Nick Staveley, who has been named in Newcastle Thunder’s squad for their Summer Bash clash with Sheffield Eagles this afternoon.
