For as little as £1 per week, fans and local residents can help us generate funds to support our Centre of Excellence and its core aim to develop the rugby league talent of the local community.
Through our partnership with NYCDA and the NYCDA Weekly Draw, 1000s of local people are doing just that for the chance to win £1000s in prizes every week. Not only do they support our player development programmes, many regularly win smaller prizes ranging from £10 to £100.
We recently visited super fan Shaun Peacock to give him the good news of his £1000 win on the weekly draw, who was not just delighted to hear about his win, but to earn about how the weekly draw partnership helps to engages the local community through our Centre of Excellence programme.
Shaun and wife Allison have been supporters for over thirty years, from the days of the Boulevard through to the more recent MKM Stadium days – both members, they can be found in the South Stand belting out Old Faithful at every home game.
Shaun has supported the lottery for a number of years, and his winning will go towards his next holiday, as well as putting some of his money back into the club by picking up his new memberships and merchandise for the new season.
All proceeds from the partnership go towards supporting the club’s Centre of Excellence and its associated player development programmes across the City of Hull and wider East Yorkshire region.
The Hull FC Centre of Excellence is the club’s rugby development and education pathway, including academy, scholarship and development college squads, as well as extending to female and disability rugby league.
The aim is clear as we look to provide opportunities along the way for local young people, of all backgrounds and abilities, to represent the club.
