New Zealand and Jamaica have named their 19-man squads for Saturday’s Rugby League World Cup clash at the MKM Stadium.
International Rugby League returns to the city of Hull this weekend as the top seeded side in the world take on one of the tournament’s newcomers.
The Kiwis, led by head coach Michael Maguire, kicked off their tournament with 34-12 victory over Lebanon at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Sunday, while Jamaica, coached by Jermaine Coleman, tasted defeat as they went down to Ireland 48-2 at Headingely.
The Group C fixture will be the second World Cup match hosted at the MKM Stadium after England and Fiji went head to head back in 2013 in front of a full house, with New Zealand making their sixth visit to the stadium.
The Kiwis side is fully loaded with superstars, including the likes of NRL stars Joseph Manu, Brandon Smith, and Dallin Watene-Zelezniak.
Meanwhile, the Jamaica side features several familiar names from closer to home, including Ashton Goulding, Ben Jones-Bishop, and Michael Lawrence.
