Check our some of the best shots as Fiji took on their first training session since arriving in the UK ahead of the Rugby League World Cup on Friday.
The Fijian outfit, which will feature Hull FC outside-back Mitieli Vulikijapani, will be based in the city during the tournament, using the University of Hull as their training base.
Friday’s session saw the Fiji side, which will be further bolstered later this week by players which have been involved in the NRL Finals, saw the Pacific nation take on the Royal Logistic Corps side in a scrimmage match.
The likes of St George Illawarra winger Mikaele Ravalawa, Huddersfield’s Kevin Naiqama, and Salford’s King Vuniyayawa were all involved – they will be joined by the likes of NRL Grand Final winners Viliame Kikau and Apisai Koroisau of the Penrith Panthers, and Parramatta’s Waqa Blake and Maika Sivo.
Fiji kick off their tournament against Australia at Headingley Stadium on the opening day of the competition on October 15th, before fixtures against Scotland and Italy at Kingston Park in Newcastle.
