The Black & Whites will celebrate their Women In League round when they welcome Wakefield Trinity to the MKM Stadium later this month!

The Betfred Super League Round 24 clash on Friday 19th August (8.00pm) will see Hull FC mark the influential role that women play across the club, and in the sport and community across the city.

The fixture will act as a perfect opportunity to mark the recent success of our Hull FC U14s and U16s sides, who both claimed their respective division titles earlier in the summer in their very first competitive season, losing just one match between them throughout their campaigns.

The sides will take part in a special parade at half-time, as well as plenty of other activity around the game, including the Hull Dockers Girls sides who will take in our Magic Moments experience pre-match.

There’ll be plenty of other focus on the women who make our club and our sport so special in the build-up, including some focus features where we’ll celebrate the achievements with of the club’s most influential females, as well as a chance for young female players to enter a draw to be the club’s match day mascot.

Over 30 female members of staff are employed across the club in a range of departments, including administration, finance, commercial, retail, ticketing, performance, education and the Community Foundation, as well as some 90 female players across the club’s Women’s, Girls, and Learning Disability Super League teams as the club continues to diversify across the board.

Inspiring stories include retail assistant Sandra Blexill, who is the club’s longest serving member of staff having joined the club over 20 years ago, as well as several members of staff who have risen through the ranks to take on senior management roles.

There are also countless other inspiring women associated with the club, who give up their time in a voluntary capacity, including FC Voices chair Lisa Jewitt, Away Supporter Liaison Andrea Merrikin, and Hull FC Vice Presidents Secretary Kay Crimlis, who all have long associations with the club.

Tickets for our Women In League fixture against Wakefield Trinity are on sale now, starting at just £20 for adults, and £5 for juniors.
