The Hull FC Community Foundation is working in collaboration with The Skills Network to help people in the local area develop their employability skills.

Through the Community Foundation’s ‘Create’ programme, participants are offered support and guidance when it comes to gaining qualifications and getting ready to explore new opportunities in regards to employment.

If you are interested in signing up for the programme through The Skills Network, click here to register your interest and be in with a chance of winning a pair of tickets to Hull FC’s home tie with Catalans Dragons on Sunday 24th April!

There are a whole host of courses on offer through the ‘Create’ programme, ranging from caring for the elderly to counselling skills.

Our tutors will also help participants enhance their CVs, boosting their chances of becoming employed.

Not only that, but each participant will receive free accredited Level 2 qualifications, whilst also being about to upskill and increase levels of personal development.

There have already been some success stories from the ‘Create’ programme, with a couple of participants previously taking up roles in Hull FC’s retail stores, gaining valuable experience within the customer assistance field.

Every Wednesday afternoon, our free-to-attend ‘Create’ drop-in sessions take place from 1.30pm, providing the necessary tools to get into work.
