Brett Hodgson has named his 21-man squad ahead of Sunday’s Betfred Super League Round 6 clash against Huddersfield Giants, brought to you in association with Jadan Press.
The Black & Whites will be looking for back-to-back wins for the first time this season following last week’s victory over Leeds, when they take on Ian Watson’s side at the MKM Stadium this weekend.
Hodsgon has made three changes to the squad that was named ahead of last week’s win at Headingley.
Manu Ma’u is named and set to feature for the first time this season having recovered from a hamstring injury sustained in pre-season.
Meanwhile, back-rower Jordan Lane is also named and could feature having missed out last week with a back injury.
Young hooker Denive Balmforth, who recently joined the club from Warrington Wolves, is named for the first-time having impressed for FC’s academy and reserves sides in recent weeks with tries in victories against Salford Reserses and London Academy.
The trio come into the squad in place of Kane Evans, who serves the first of a two match suspension, Jamie Shaul who drops out with a calf strain, and Joe Cator, who suffered a season ending reoccurrence of his ruptured Achilles in last week’s win.
Hull remain without Darnell McIntosh, Carlos Tuimavave, Josh Reynolds, Cameron Scott, and Scott Taylor through injury, while Luke Gale serves the fourth game of a five match suspension.
