Brett Hodgson has named his 21-man squad ahead of Saturday’s Derby Day clash against Hull Kingston Rovers, brought to you in association with Jadan Press.

And the Black & Whites have been handed a major boost ahead of the match, with six key names returning to the squad.

Star full-back Jake Connor, fresh from penning his two-year contract extension with the club earlier this week, is included in the squad having been absent since June due to a knee injury.

The club also welcome back Challenge Cup winner Jamie Shaul who could make his first appearance this season, having been out of action for 10 months with a serious ACL injury sustained last year.

Co-captain Marc Sneyd is included in the squad having missed the clash against Catalans Dragons, while Andre Savelio, Jordan Johnstone and Connor Wynne are all included having served their respective suspensions.

The Black & Whites will be without Chris Satae and Mahe Fonua for the match, as well as long term absentees Josh Griffin, Masi Matongo, and Harvey Barron.
