Fixture details have been confirmed for our upcoming Hull Derby fixture against Hull Kingston Rovers at the MKM Stadium.
Part of Betfred Super League’s ‘Rivals Round’, the Black & Whites will go head to head against their biggest rivals on Saturday 21st August, with the match kicking off at 3.00pm.
The fixture will be one of three mouth-watering derby clashes broadcast by Sky Sports that weekend.
It will be the first time that the Airlie Birds have gone up against the Robins since October 2020, and the first time since Brett Hodgson took the reigns as Hull’s head coach.
The first derby clash to take place in front of a crowd since the start of the pandemic, the last fixture in West Hull between two of the sport’s biggest rivals saw FC come out on top, with Hull hoping to make it three wins in a row against Rovers later this month.

The round, which will see the Rugby League’s biggest rivals go head-to-head starts on Thursday night (19 August) when league leaders, Catalans Dragons travel to face Warrington Wolves at the Halliwell Jones Stadium (7:45pm KO) before Wigan Warriors host St Helens (7:45pm KO) on Friday night as they look to avenge a 26-4 defeat in Round 13.
Saturday will see focus switch to East coast as the Hull Derby takes centre stage on Sky Sports with Hull FC hosting cross city rivals Hull KR at the MKM Stadium. (3pm KO)
These match-ups have provided some of the most talked about moments in Super League history and with no doubt all to play for just five rounds from the end of the regular season, and a fortnight before Dacia Magic Weekend, these games will again be sure to create some memorable moments.
