Four Players Named In Yorkshire Academy Squad

Four players from Hull FC’s Academy have been selected for Yorkshire

Lancashire and Yorkshire have each selected squads to prepare for Roses duty at Weetwood Hall in Leeds on Wednesday 4 August.

Four players from Hull FC’s Academy have been selected for Yorkshire – Jacob Hookem; who has featured in pre-season fixtures against Halifax and York City Knights in recent years, Davy Litten, Callum Rutland and Nick Staveley.

The players, who are part of the club’s Centre of Excellence are also joined by a small number of players with first team experience, including Castleford Tigers’ Jason Qareqare who made his first team debut against the Black & Whites in the 30-12 victory at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle in June.

The Yorkshire squad will be coached by Hull FC’s Danny Wilson.
