Match Day Food Donated To Homeless Charity

Hull FC have donated food to charity which would have been used at the MKM Stadium today.

The Black & Whites have today played a small role in helping support some of the regions homeless community, by donating food from the MKM Stadium that would have otherwise gone to waste.

With help from the stadium catering staff, the club rounded up all the perishable food we were expecting to deliver to our guests at today’s postponed fixture against Leigh Centurions.

Instead of the food going to waste, the stadium’s kitchen staff cooked up a number of meals for our friends at Riverside – The Crossings, who do a fantastic job helping homeless people from our region with temporary accommodation, support and training, as well as our partners at The Bridges rehabilitation service.

We are pleased to be able to help in this small way and turn yesterday’s postponement into a positive for others, and put some more smiles on faces on what should be a memorable day for the country.
