Match Day Info Guide: Hull FC vs Huddersfield

Supporters are invited to read our Match Day Info Guide ahead of Friday’s game

Club News

Hull FC have issued the following Match Day Info Guide featuring all the key information for spectators at tomorrow’s game against Huddersfield Giants at the KCOM Stadium.

Our members and corporate partners will return to the KCOM Stadium for only the second time in the last 16 months as Hull take on Huddersfield Giants on Friday evening.

However, supporters are asked to take note of the many restrictions and rules imposed in and around the KCOM Stadium to ensure the safety of all those in attendance.

Please read the guide below in full before the match:

Before The Match

  • Before heading to the KCOM Stadium for Friday’s game, all spectators are required to read the Spectator’s Code of Conduct, which includes important information on fan safety, and entry/exit from the ground. To read in full – click here
  • Plan your journey in advance and arrive at the stadium in plenty of time – turnstiles open 90 minutes before kick-off. Normal entry points might be closed and additional stadium entry procedures will be in operation. Meanwhile, the Argyle Street footbridge will be open from 4pm.
  • Assess whether you and your family are fit to attend the fixture. Those who are feeling unwell on the day of the game, or are showing any Covid-19 symptoms should not attend the fixture.
  • Book and prepare your tickets – tickets will remain available online via the club’s ticketing website up until 12pm on the day of the game. If you selected ‘print at home’ tickets, ensure your tickets are printed – there will be no facility to print your tickets at the stadium. If you selected e-tickets, ensure your tickets are accessible on your mobile device. If you haven’t already booked your tickets – click here to do so.
  • Watch our stadium entry video by clicking here, which shows how to enter the stadium with your tickets when you reach the turnstiles.

Arriving At The Stadium

  • Supporters are advised that the only on-site parking available at the stadium for members will be via the Walton Street car park, with the regular price of £5 per vehicle. Payments are cash only, and supporters are asked to bring the correct change.
  • If you have already paid for a season parking pass, please note that for this fixture you will be required to park in the Walton Street car park, but you will not be charged.
  • Disabled supporters have been contacted in advance of the fixture regarding parking and will be able to park in an area of the South Stand car park, as directed by stewards on arrival. A drop-off area will also be in use.
  • To ensure maximum safety for everyone in attendance, all spectators should wear facemasks as soon as they enter the vicinity of the stadium, including in outside areas such as car parks, paths and walkways. This does not include those aged under 11 years old, and those who are medically exempt.
  • Social distancing should be exercised at all times, except from people within your own bubble.
  • We kindly ask that you do not approach any players or members of staff – they aren’t being rude, but they cannot stop to sign autographs and take selfies.
  • While preparing to enter the stadium, ensure your tickets are ready to go – having your tickets out or on your screen will prevent longer waiting times for others.
  • If scanning an e-ticket on your mobile device, please ensure your screen brightness is turned up – the scanner may not recognise your QR code if your brightness is low. Click on the QR code on your e-ticket to enlarge it, making it easier to scan.
  • Supporters are advised that they can bring a plastic bottled drink with an unbroken seal, as well as snacks for personal consumption such as chocolate, crisps, or fruit.
  • Please do not bring any large bags into the stadium larger than A4 sized. If you do need to bring any essential items (e.g. medication) then an A4 sized bag will be permitted within the Stadium.

Inside The Ground

  • Maintain good hygiene at all times and use the hand sanitising stations provided around the ground. Wash hands regularly too when possible.
  • Please note that one way systems will be in place around the stadium, including on concourses – follow the floor markings, instructions from stewards, and via the PA systems.
  • Our food & drink kiosks will not be open for this fixture – please head straight to you designated seat, and remain there throughout the duration of the fixture. Do not congregate on the concourse or in other areas of the stadium – you will be asked to return to your seat.
  • Supporters should only leave their seats should they need to use the toilet, or if they would like to leave the stadium to smoke at half-time. Smokers will be able to leave from 5 minutes before half-time until 15 minutes after the second-half kicks off.
  • Please do not swap seats during the game. Although there may be some empty seats around you, these are empty to aid social distancing.
  • Supporters are kindly asked not to touch the match ball should it exit the field of play to help good hygiene for our players and match officials – a member of staff will be on hand to collect the ball should it land near you, and sanitise it appropriately.
  • Supporters should wear masks at all times when inside the stadium, including when in their seat. Supporters should only remove their mask when eating or drinking in their seat.
  • We all hope we’ll be celebrating a try or two, but please remember to maintain safe distances with other supporters not in your household/ support bubble and be respectful and mindful to those around you, whose individual circumstances may differ from your own.
  • Singing and chanting is permitted – we want to hear Old Faithful ringing out loud and proud!

After Full-Time

  • Supporters will be unable to leave the ground early. Please remain in your seat until the full-time hooter and follow the instructions of the PA system and stewards after the final hooter.
  • Exit from the stadium will be staggered – it will take longer than normal to leave due to the procedures in place to allow supporters to exit the stadium safely and efficiently. The stewards will speak to you when you are allowed to leave your seat at the end of the match.
  • We know you’ll want to congratulate the players at the full-time hooter should the result go our way, but please do not congregate at the bottom of the stands at the end of the game, or throw items onto the field of play.
  • Please be patient – we understand you’ll want to get back to the warmth of your car of front room, but ensure you are remaining safe and socially distant at all times – Covid-19 doesn’t respect the full-time hooter!
