Brett Hodgson has named his 21-man squad for this weekend’s Betfred Super League season opener against Huddersfield Giants, brought to you in association with Jadan Press.
Hull begin their 2021 campaign against the West Yorkshire side on Sunday at Emerald Headingley Stadium as they look to claim their seventh opening round win in the last eight seasons.
New recruit Josh Reynolds is set to make his competitive debut for the Airlie Birds having joined from NRL outfit West Tigers in the off-season.
Meanwhile, Josh Griffin could make his 100th appearance from the Black & Whites if selected, with youngsters Cameron Scott and Ben McNamara also included after impressing in pre-season.
Hull will be without long-term absentee Jamie Shaul who continues his recovery from a torn ACL, whilst Jack Brown and Masi Matongo miss out through injuries sustained in the build-up to this week’s game.
Marc Sneyd will captain the team for the first time having been named as one of three co-captains this season, alongside Danny Houghton and Scott Taylor.
