Hull FC can provide an injury update on members of the Black & White first-team squad.

Following a scan late last night, it has been confirmed that Marc Sneyd will be out of action for up to eight weeks with lateral ligament damage following the injury picked up in the victory over Huddersfield on Sunday.

Sneyd could be out of action for up to two months, but his recovery will be monitored closely throughout his period on the sidelines.

Ratu Naulago, who failed a Head Injury Assessment during Sunday’s game, will be out of action this weekend due to the short-turnaround, but will be back and available for selection next week.

Scott Taylor (back) and Masi Matongo (shoulder) continue their recovery from their respective injuries, with the latter now just two to three weeks away from full-fitness.

Gareth Ellis is rested for this week’s game.

Meanwhile, Jake Connor, Ligi Sao and Josh Bowden, all of whom were unavailable for Sunday’s game against Huddersfield, are now able to return to action and have been named in the 21-man squad.

Andre Savelio and Josh Jones remain unavailable at this time.
