Interim head coach Andy Last has confirmed his 21-man squad for this Sunday’s clash against Salford Red Devils, brought to you in association with Jadan Press.
The Black & Whites restart their 2020 Betfred Super League campaign at Emerald Headingley Stadium this weekend after a four-and-a-half month break from action.
Last, taking charge of the first-team for the very first-time after an over two-decade association with the club, goes into the match with an almost fully-fit squad, with Scott Taylor and Masi Matongo being the only exceptions.
Taylor is sidelined with a back injury sustained in training, while Matongo will be out of action having picked up a shoulder knock.
Jake Connor, Bureta Faraimo, Ratu Naulago, Mahe Fonua, Joe Cator, Andre Savelio and Manu Ma’u, all of whom were nursing injuries going into the lockdown break, are all fully-fit and named in the squad.
Meanwhile, with a number of outside-backs available at Last’s disposal, winger Adam Swift isn’t included following the recent birth of his child.
