Betfred Super League have today confirmed the 2020 Dacia Magic Weekend will not take place, while confirming details in principal for the 2021 edition of the event.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, Super League has announced that Dacia Magic Weekend 2020 is now cancelled, but tickets will be valid for the 2021 event in Newcastle.

The good news is that Super League have agreed in principle that next year’s Dacia Magic Weekend will take place at St James’ Park, Newcastle on 29 and 30 May 2021.

Tickets purchased for this year will still be valid next season and therefore you do not need to do anything.

If you purchased your tickets online, you don’t need to do anything. We have your information and we will be in touch when tickets arrive next year.

If you purchased your tickets in store, please keep your receipt in a safe place and in good condition as this will be needed to claim your tickets next season in advance of the 2021 Magic Weekend.

Hull FC and Super League would like to thank you for your continued understanding and patience at this uncertain time.

Should fans that have bought tickets already not be able to attend in 2021 then, in line with Super League’s ticketing terms and conditions, you will be entitled to a refund or credit note from where you purchased the tickets – either Hull FC or Super League.

To claim a refund:

We appreciate that in the circumstances some fans may be eager to receive their refund as soon as possible, but we please ask for your support and patience whilst we process this for you.

The vast majority of club staff are still on furlough leave and our club shops remain closed, therefore, this process will take longer than normal.

Please email jade.hilton@hullfc.com with the subject header marked MAGIC WEEKEND REFUND and include your full name, address, day time contact number, number of tickets purchased and a photo/scan/screenshot of your receipt for proof of purchase.

The request must only be made from the person and / or email address who purchased the tickets.

You will be contacted by a member of our staff to confirm your refund and how this will be processed. Unfortunately, cash refunds are not feasible whilst the club shops remain closed.

Please allow up to two weeks for a member of our team to contact you.

Refunds are not available via any other channel. This is to ensure we can provide a satisfactory service for all our supporters whilst resources are limited due to Covid-19.

Please note: If a ticket purchaser hasn’t claimed a refund or credit note by midnight on 11 August 2020 the booking will be automatically transferred to Dacia Magic Weekend 2021.

If you bought your tickets from Super League, please visit superleague.co.uk for more details.

If you purchased official club coach travel for the 2020 Dacia Magic Weekend, your place will be automatically added to the coach travel list for next year’s event. If you would like a refund, please email jade.hilton@hullfc.com by midnight on 11 August 2020.
