Denive Balmforth was recruited from Warrington Wolves in March 2022.

The exciting hooker featured for Yorkshire Academy in the 2021 War of the Roses clash, scoring a try and winning Man of the Match.

On his Hull FC Reserves debut, Balmforth scored in a 40-20 victory over Salford Red Devils. A week later, he also scored a fantastic try on his Hull FC Academy debut in a 60-12 win over London Broncos Under 18s.

Balmforth made his first team debut for the Black & Whites in a 48-12 victory over Toulouse Olympique in April 2022, scoring a try just minutes after coming off the bench.
