Jude Thompson joined Hull FC’s Academy midway through the 2022 Academy Championship season, arriving in East Yorkshire from Castleford Tigers Under 18s.
The explosive prop forward, who was born in Doncaster, was originally a Scholarship player at Leeds Rhinos whilst playing his junior rugby for Bentley, before departing for the Mend-A-Hose Jungle.
But Thompson really came into his own after joining the Black & Whites’ Academy in the summer of 2022, demonstrating his power in possession of the ball and resilience in defence.
