Like his older brother, Ben Johnson can now say he has represented Hull FC’s Academy after joining up with the squad ahead of the start of the 2023 season.

Ryan Johnson, who now plies his trade with Sheffield Eagles in the Championship, will still be proud of his younger brother, who has progressed nicely through Hull’s Scholarship programme.

The centre has nimble footwork and a frightening turn of pace that makes him a handful to defend against.

Johnson came through as a junior at Hull Wyke, like many of his current Hull FC Academy team mates, thus formulating a strong bond within the squad.
