Profile

Miteli Vulikijapani signed a professional contract with the Black & Whites in April, 2021 after impressing during a trial period throughout pre-season.

Having served in the British Army as a Gunner in the 47 Regiment Royal Artillery, Vulikijapani was granted release from active service to pursue his opportunity with Hull FC.

A former Rugby Union player, he has represented high-profile clubs Harlequins and Saracens, winning the Premiership 7s title with the latter in 2018.

Whilst impressing at club level, Vulikijapani has also represented the British Army squads in both 7s and 15-a-side Rugby Union.

After a brief loan spell with Bradford Bulls, Vulikijapani returned to the FC camp and made his Super League debut in a 64-22 victory over Leigh Leopards in June 2021.

The following month, the winger scored his first try for the club against Huddersfield Giants. He also scored his second try later in the game.

In October 2022, Vulikijapani made his international debut for Fiji in a Test match against England, before he made his World Cup debut against Australia in Headingley.
