Standing at 6 foot 3 inches tall, Harvey Barron doesn’t let his height slow him down. With electric pace, Barron has one of the key attributes required to be a successful winger.
Inspired by fleet-footed winger Josh Addo-Carr, Barron is one of the quickest players across the Black & Whites’ roster.
Despite at first pursuing a career in football, having been on the books at Scunthorpe United, Barron made large strides in his rugby league career at a young age, earning a call up for the England national team at academy level.
Supported by the Hull FC Academy, Barron was one of several academy players called up to train with the first-team squad in 2021.
Barron caught the eye in pre-season and he became the first academy player of the group to be called up into the senior squad having been named in the 21-man squad to face Wigan in April, 2021.
He made his FC debut and scored in a 30-6 victory against Toulouse Olympique in July 2022 before going on to make a handful of appearances on the wing towards the end of the season.
