Leon Hayward joined the Hull FC Scholarship squad ahead of the 2023 season, after playing impressively for his junior club Cottingham Tigers.

Hayward, who is a student at Cottingham High School, plays as a halfback.

But he can also back himself to play in the pack at loose forward, offering his ball-playing services to the front-row.
