Michael Shenton has named a 20-man Academy squad for Hull FC’s Derby clash with Hull KR Under 18s at the University of Hull tomorrow (1.00pm kick-off), brought to you in association with Pearson Electrical.
It’s the final game of the regular season for both sides tomorrow afternoon, with the Black & Whites looking to seal a place in the Academy Championship play-offs, whilst Hull KR know a 73-point victory will see them leapfrog the Black & Whites into the all-important top four.
Shenton has made a handful of changes to his squad from their previous match against Warrington Wolves Under 18s; with Matty Laidlaw, Junior Mafi, Mason Opie-Palmer, Manoa Wacokecoke and Jensen Wainwright-Matson all in with a chance of making their returns to action.
Meanwhile, Hull FC Sports College students Luke Garmston and Harry Walker could feature for the Academy for the first time, with the pair included in Shenton’s 20-man squad for the Derby.
