Matty Shepherdson was promoted to Hull FC’s Academy squad ahead of the 2024 campaign.
He has followed in the footsteps of the likes of Will Hutchinson, Matty Laidlaw, Zach Jebson and Jordon Baker, who all earned their Academy contracts through catching the eye for Hull FC’s Sports College team.
The former Hull Wyke junior is an outside back, playing primarily as a centre but occasionally featuring out wide on the wing.
