Head of Education (Hull FC Centre of Excellence)

The Head of Education will play a pivotal role in the planning, coordination, recruitment, and delivery of the Centre of Excellence education programmes. As a member of the Foundation’s management team, the Head of Education will be expected to lead and take operational responsibility for:

• Coordinating day-to-day running and delivery of the Education programmes.

• Develop strong and meaningful relationships with a range of stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes for our participants.

• Providing and facilitating programme sessions that are engaging and high quality.

• Creating strategic links between the programmes within the department, and wider organisation to develop the skills and experiences of all participants.

• Managing a budget and overall performance, ensuring financial sustainability of programmes and reporting requirements, and evaluating ongoing impact and satisfaction data

Education Officer (Hull FC Centre of Excellence)

The post holder will work with the further education team and students, aged 16-19. They will have responsibility to lead on all aspects of delivery and coordination of the full-time study programmes, teaching on the NCFE Level 2 Diploma in Sport and/or NCFE Level Extended Diploma in Sport. This will include planning, delivering, and assessing work, mentoring learners, and working with colleagues to ensure learners meet accredited outcomes whilst contributing to the continued development of Hull FC Centre of Excellence initiatives.

Job Purpose:

• To deliver outstanding courses which meet learner needs, use a range of diverse teaching and learning strategies, allow learners to access a comprehensive range of resources and provide comprehensive assessment opportunities.

• To complete and maintain effective data in relation to learners including, attendance, individual learner targets, progression, achievement and destination.

• To maximise learner recruitment, retention and success through the provision of an outstanding educational experience which enable learners to maximise their potential.

• To provide one to one and class tutorials and function as a personal tutor

Session Sports Coach (Hull FC Community Foundation)

To support the delivery of Hull FC Community Foundation’s development programmes. Delivering high quality rugby and multisport activities within a variety of environments including Schools, Colleges, Rugby League Clubs and Youth Clubs. Ensure all delivery equipment and activities are risk assessed and that young people within provision are safeguarded according to the policies and procedures.

Health & Physical Activity Coach (Hull FC Community Foundation)

Working closely with the Head of Health and Wellbeing, you will be responsible for delivering and supporting the development of all health and wellbeing provision through the Teaming Up for Health partnership including but not limited to; Match Fit, Energise Club, Unite Fitness, Walking Rugby, and Our Best Years amongst new programmes that will arise because of expanding our offer in line with the new strategy.

Hull FC Lottery Sales Executives

We are looking for interested individuals to join the sales team as we look to raise funds for Hull FC’s newly relaunched Centre of Excellence. Using our direct debit facilities, all staff will work on behalf of Hull FC and their Official Lottery Partner NYCDA increase membership and awareness

By being part of the sales team, you will be equipped to sell lottery memberships through a way most suited to your skills, experience and comfort zone. This includes one or more of the following:

  • Door to door

Working a particular area of Hull via face-to-face sales on the door

  • Business to business

Working on a local high street to promote bigger support direct to local businesses

  • Shop/ retail

Operating in the club’s shops to speak to fans

  • Game day/ events

Work on game day and club events to engage fans

Full and part time roles are available to meet individual need and circumstances. The offer is based on pay of £10 per hour, equating to £19,500 basic for an annual salary (pro rata for Part time).

There is a commission package is available, with OTE £30,000+ for full time role. Of course, training and support will be provided and travel expenses available for beyond reasonable travel. In addition, whilst we are hoping to talk to people of all backgrounds, the roles will naturally suit avid fans of the club as Hull FC merchandise and hospitality available as part of the package
